Have you heard of B Corp certification?
It's a certification for businesses that meet high standards of social and environmental performance, accountability, and transparency. But what does that really mean?
B Corp certification is awarded to businesses that meet rigorous standards of social and environmental performance, transparency, and accountability. To become certified, businesses must complete a comprehensive assessment of their practices in areas such as governance, workers, community, and environment. The assessment covers everything from the company's impact on the environment to its treatment of employees and suppliers.
B Corp certification is awarded by the non-profit organization B Lab, which was founded in 2006 to promote a new kind of business that balances profit with purpose. B Corp certified businesses are part of a global community of companies that are using business as a force for good.
But what are the benefits of B Corp certification for businesses? For one, it can help companies differentiate themselves in the market and attract customers who are looking for socially and environmentally responsible products and services. B Corp certification can also help companies attract and retain employees who are committed to making a positive impact in the world.
For consumers, choosing to support B Corp certified businesses is a way to vote with their cash for a more sustainable and equitable future. By supporting these businesses, consumers can help create positive social and environmental change.
So, if you're looking to support businesses that are committed to making a positive impact in the world, look for the B Corp certification. By choosing to support these businesses, you can help create a better world for all of us.

When I first came across Arbonne the Bcorp certification absolutely fascinated me. Since learning about what BCorps are I now search for as many Bcorp brands as I can to buy from or where I can't access one I shop with small, local businesses or businesses where I have met the owners and know they are doing their best for people and planets.
Recently I found Coffee Logs which are coffee grounds collected from coffee shops, restaurants, office buildings etc they are dried and compacted into logs for the fire. They burn 20% hotter than regular kiln dried logs and it reduces waste.
Sézanne the French fashion brand is Bcorp, Patagonia, Ben & Jerry's, Dr.Bronner these are some of the names you might recognise more easily.
You can search by country or category for BCorps to purchase from. Make the switch today- start voting for people and the planet with your cash!
